Editor's Letter

"Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia." — E.L. Doctorow

Here it is - the much-awaited second issue of Weevil. This term we are bringing you more science, more humour and more silly drawings of silly creatures.

Life as a Weeviller is incredible, you know. This term we've watched 68-year-old documentaries on pachyderm flight, thought about chocolate, spent long hours in the lab, listened to iPods and drank insane amounts of coffee, all to ensure that the information within this magazine is confirmed and tested in real-life situations. We then proceeded to write up the resultant data, and are pleased to present it to you. Now it's over to you to experience the wonders of Science According To Weevil. Have fun!
